What is KSJ-KSA-VKSJ?

Flanders is familiar with a remarkable youth movement tradition: every week some quarter of a million children and youngsters join one of the several youth movements that are active in our country. KSJ-KSA-VKSJ belongs to one of the three largest youth movements in Flanders.

The KSJ-KSA-VKSJ is one movement, the abbreviation of which stands for Katholieke Studerende Jeugd – Katholieke Studentenactie – Vrouwelijke Katholieke Studerende Jeugd. KSJ-KSA-VKSJ is a youth movement that opens its doors to all children from 6 years onwards.

Today the KSJ-KSA-VKSJ consists of approximately 34 000 members, spread across more than 300 local groups for whom activities are organised on a weekly basis, mainly on Saturday afternoons : a thrilling story, creatively elaborated games, life in the open and assignments that stimulate both personality development as well as team spirit.

KSJ-KSA-VKSJ not only consists of local groups. It also gets support on provincial and regional level.
